Release Notes

This Sub Project have 5 user Web Parts "what users normally ask and don't want to waste to much time" you can use to deploy on your SharePoint Sites.
  • Calculator Web Part "Simple calculator made in javascript"
  • Stock Exchange Web Part "XML Viewer with Web Service to Stock Exchange Google API" to add multiple quote need to change url example: "stock=quote1&stock=quote2"
  • Weather Web Part "XML Viewer with Web Service to Weather Google API" o add multiple quote need to change url example: weather=city1&hl=PT-pt&weather=city2&hl=PT-pt
  • Currency Convert Web Part "Iframe to Google Currency Convert"
  • Google Search Web Part "Show Modal Dialog to Google Search"
  • Quotes Stock Exchange - This Service call Nasdaq Web Service and display in XML Viewer, to add multiple quotes needs to add "symbol=quote1,quote2"

Important
If you have proxy configuration you will need to change Web.config
Example:
Access to C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\Port
Change on Web.config
<system.net>
<defaultProxy>
<proxy usesystemdefault = "false" proxyaddress="name or IP" bypassonlocal="true" />
</defaultProxy>

How to import the Web Part to your SharePoint Site:
  • SP 2007
Site Actions > Edit Page > Add a Web Part > Advanced Web Part Gallery and options > in right Web Part Properties select on Browse Dropdown the option import > Select Web Part > Upload > drag you Web Part to Web Part Zone.
  • SP 2010
Ribbon Page > Edit Page > add Web Part > Upload a Web Part > Select Web Part > Upload > Add Web Part > add custom Web Part to the correct Web Part Zone.

Add Web Part in the "Web Part Gallery":
Site Actions > Site Settings > Galleries > Web Part > Upload Web Part > Select a Group.
Everytime you add a new Web Part the controls will be there to be selected in the define Group.
